Martina Salini joined the Ammunition Management Advisory Team (AMAT) in September 2019. As Junior Programme Officer for AMAT, her role is to support the mapping of global activities pertaining to safe and secure management of ammunition, assist in project management, and coordinate workshops, conferences and seminars.
Before joining AMAT, Martina was an intern at the Kofi Annan Foundation, the Global Migration Centre, the Italian Permanent Mission to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, as well as the Territorial Commission for the Recognition of International Protection in Milan.
Martina is Italian; her working languages are English, French, Italian and Spanish. She holds a M.A. in Law from the Bocconi University of Milan and an LL.M. in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights from the Geneva Academy.
